Before you order
How to choose the right Broadman box
Count the people, then the services
Communicants times services a year is your cup count. A church of 80 serving monthly uses 960 cups. Weekly, 4,160.
Measure one ring of your tray
Broadman disposable cups are 1 3/8 inches high and 1.25 inches across. If your tray is older than you are, check a ring before ordering a case of 6,000.
Decide who prepares
Prefilled cups cost more per person but need nobody on Saturday. Empty cups and a filler bottle need a volunteer and a sink.
Ask about gluten
If one member needs to avoid gluten, keep a gluten-free bag on hand and a plate of its own, set out before the regular bread is opened.
Read the date on the box
Prefilled cups are guaranteed fresh to the date stamped on the box. A case you will not finish by then is not a bargain.
Plan the paper by the calendar
Seasonal bulletins serve one week. Worship designs serve any Sunday. Order Holy Week bulletins together, before Ash Wednesday.
Questions
What churches ask about Broadman supplies
Short answers. Each product page has its own.
Are you buying from Broadman Church Supplies itself on this site?
No. Broadman Church Supplies is a line of B&H Publishing Group, part of Lifeway Christian Resources, which sells it in its own store. This is an independent guide: we describe the products and send you to our retail partner to buy.
Where can you buy Broadman church supplies?
Every product page here has a button to our retail partner, where the order, payment, delivery and returns are handled. The price shown is from our last catalog update. The one at checkout is the one you pay.
How many Broadman communion cups do you need for a year?
Multiply the people who take communion by the number of services in a year. A church of 80 serving monthly needs about 960 cups. The planner on this page does the sum and picks the boxes.
Do you need to refrigerate Broadman prefilled communion cups?
No. Fellowship Cups keep at room temperature and are guaranteed fresh up to the date stamped on the box.
Will these cups fit your communion trays?
The disposable cups are 1 3/8 inches high and 1.25 inches across the top, the size standard trays are made for, and the Fellowship Cups are shaped for standard trays too. Measure a ring of an old tray before a big order.
Can you get gluten-free communion bread from Broadman?
Yes. The Broadman selection has gluten-free wafers about 50 to a bag and gluten-free bread about 200 to a bag, both from a flour blend of beans, potato starch, tapioca and sorghum. Our gluten-free guide explains how to serve them.
What are you getting with Broadman RemembranceWare?
The stainless steel communion ware of the Broadman assortment, in a silver or brass finish: trays that hold 32 cups and 40 pieces of bread, covers with a Latin cross, a bread plate and offering plates.
